BuySellAds - Can You Really Make Money With BuySellAds?

BuySellAds - Can You Really Make Money With BuySellAds?

Today I want to talk about BuySellAds and other AdSense alternatives. Unfortunately a lot of people have been getting their AdSense accounts disabled for different reasons and in this past year I've received more emails than ever about disabled accounts. Don’t ever get too secure because no one is exempt from getting their account disabled. You have to diversify
your resources. It doesn't matter how much money you’re making, no one is completely safe from this.

I've been getting a lot of emails about BuySellAds and I've also seen comments and discussions on various forums saying after being disabled from AdSense, they found that they’re making more with BuySellAds or other alternatives like AdBrite, Chitika, etc.

Although there are a lot of AdSense alternatives out there, I specifically want to go into depth with BuySellAds in this article. Even though it’s not comparable to AdSense in terms of how it works (it’s not like you’re earning per click; it’s not a CPC program), it’s basically selling third party ads on your website. If you have ad space in your header or side bar, BuySellAds will find
advertisers for you and help you with pricing and all kinds of stuff. Of course they take a percentage of whatever you earn. Now the advantage of using BuySellAds over selling ads yourself is that they have access to a database full of advertisers that are looking for sites to advertise on - people that may not have found your websites. BuySellAds more or less acts like a broker.

Now the downside to using BuySellAds, as I already mentioned, is that they take a cut of whatever you earn - 25%. If you manage the advertisements yourself, of course you wouldn't have to pay a third party, but the advantage of using them is that they may have access to advertisers that you would not be able to find yourself. As a result, the potential of earning more with BuySellAds is far higher than doing the ads yourself. The other downside of BuySellAds is that they are very selective of who they accept into their program. They require you to have at least 50,000 visitors to your site each month, but if you go to their website, you will see that they have 4 different categories – Small Publishers, Medium Publishers, Large Publishers, and Media Companies. Even if you’re a smaller publisher and don’t have a lot of traffic, they may work with you if your site looks like it’s good quality. Quality is key; if your site is on a bunch of different topics or a random blog, you’re probably not going to get accepted into the program. If you've got a very tight niche website, you have a better chance of getting into BuySellAds if you have lower amounts of traffic.

I keep hearing people say that they've been able to make more with BuySellAds than they were making with AdSense. Now remember, it’s about traffic – if you don’t have a thousand visitors a day, it is probably going to be harder to make money with not just BuySellAds, but with any other advertisement program. If you don’t have the traffic requirements to become a publisher with BuySellAds, you could try AdBrite (no traffic requirements to get accepted) or Chitika (CPC program). Like I mentioned above, there are a ton of different alternatives to AdSense. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket, so get started on diversifying your income today.

BuySellAds is basically a marketplace that connects publishers with advertisers. If you’re an advertiser and are working hard to reach your target audience to receive the best return on investment, you know it’s not easy especially if you’re buying ads directly from publishers. BuySellAds is a hand curated shopping mall made up of thousands of awesome websites who want to work with you. It’s super easy to work with and you can get up and running in a few minutes.

Why is buying direct ad space important? Well there’s basically 2 ways you can run advertisements online:
  • You can buy directly from publishers
  • You can buy indirectly through things like ad networks and real time bidding
Each one of the above options has its benefits. If you’re like many advertisers, you should be doing a mix of both. Most websites sell their ad space directly to marketers and then whatever remnant space is leftover, they pool into ad networks and exchanges. Ad networks such as BuySellAds are easy to use and you don’t have to worry about the quality of websites your ads will show up on. Before accepting anyone into their program, BuySellAds does a thorough screening of the sites to ensure it is good quality and that it attracts at least 50,000 visitors a month. You don’t have to worry about your ads showing up in some pretty weird places and you’ll get some of the best ad impressions. Plus some of the best websites are available to their network. There are a lot of benefits in working with BuySellAds, they manage all your advertisements so you don’t have to do a lot of manual work and you’ll be able to save so much time.

It’s way too hard to find all the great websites you should work with, you can hunt and pack on your own, but there’s just so many websites out there and even when you find a great website, you have to figure out how to contact the publisher, go through endless back and forth emails, send RFPs, sign an I.O, deal with billing, manage the creative, request statistic reports, and do whatever it takes to successfully run your campaigns. To top it all off, you have to do it all over again for each and every website you want to work with. With all that hassle, no wonder most advertisers only have time to work with a few convenient sites rather than doing what’s best fo
r their budgets. Now there’s BuySellAds, built specifically for advertisers and publishers and only the best stuff is allowed in. You’re not wasting your time picking through bad websites, so you know you’re in good hands with BuySellAds.
