Am happy to have my notepad once again after many months of absence of blogging. Am back again.
Today, am sharing tips about the most neglected social media for bloggers in generating traffic. Hardly do you see a blogger giving out all his/her hard-earned time for promoting social media account. What’s that if not “TWITTER”.

Some bloggers also cherish twitter in generating traffic for their blog, I know many of them. Since blogging has changed its dancing steps in the past few months, likewise other social networking platforms. If you don’t have twitter account yet,then the next step after reading this post is creating one to get free or paid traffic to your blog/website.
Am writing this because of my love for twitter. I like twitter very well. I decided to use this post to launch my new blog; blogfulpath.com, due to varieties of questions am receiving daily about Traffic issues.
The interesting part of it is that twitter has grown to an unimaginable level. Hardly do you spend time in looking for like-minded people, such as: students, civil servants, artisans, entrepreneurs, my fellow bloggers and many more.
I could remember meeting one of top Nigerian bloggers on twitter some months ago, I got connected with him, I learnt much from him and now, am happy applying some of the strategies now.
Twitter has made a tremendous remark in the few months. As of now, you can follow people, un-follow people, pre-schedule tweets and lots more.

How To Get Traffic From Twitter To Your Blog!

Twitter is actually amazing. Just like many other bloggers, I’ve been using twitter to update the new happenings around with my old blog then. I keeps my readers up-to-date with it. I feels happy seeing my tweet being re-tweeted by others on my lists. It shows how viral my post has gone so far.
Now, let’s hit the nail on the head. Below are the few ways you can drive traffic to your blog from twitter:

• Using Twitter and Blogging together

As stated above, using twitter to generate traffic to your blog is a good chance that is not supposed to be missed by any blogger. It’s important to merge twitter with your blog in a unique way.
A cool way of getting this done is by adding a twitter button on your homepage or by adding it to your sidebars or footer to display to all your web pages. this will help your loyal readers to sign up and follow you with ease. A good example is shown below:

You can also use twitter  and blogging together by using a good sharing buttons which allows your readers to share your post. A good way of doing this is by adding ShareThis or Floating Social Bar plugin to your WordPress site. You can also add a “Recent Tweets” to any part of your site. • Engage Yourself  With Your Followers

Why not join the moving train, twitter is a social network, a place to meet new friends and chat with them, so, make new friends on twitter, follow them back, chat with them and offer them your re-tweet.etc.
you can meet people of a like-mindset on twitter. You can meet people of the same niche with you. You can also meet new friends who are willing to partner with you in your business. You can also meet big people who can coach you up there.
Like i said before, blogging has changed its dancing steps; blogging is now a community of millions striving to be sen on the apex, make friends with them and make your blog a better place for daily visitors.

• Be Honest on Twitter

Honesty is the best attribute to any business unit and life in general. Everybody likes doing business with an honest someone or organization. Make your followers trust you as it will enhance your blog engagement. 
Being honest will help carry your readers along, if there is a good update you found on the web, feel free to let them know. Your readers will value your opinions more than any other one. They will also grow a mind of visiting any linkable link you shared on your twitter handle, so doing this, it enhances your blog traffic.

• Be Concise

Always go straight to the point of whatever you are sharing with your followers. A bad post can attract many un-follows and you know what it meant? loosing your followers and traffic.
It’s not possible to crack a full joke on twitter, it’s not possible to drop all your informative posts on twitter as twitter allows not more than 140 characters for you. This is a clear impression that you should be concise with your tweets. This matters a lot.

Twitter can also help you in market research to know the standard of your blog at any time. You can ask your readers what they want or what they did not, why they like such or why they didn’t. It throws you and your readers into a cordial engagement.
You can start a discussion and listen to people, you can also give suggestions to other people topics.
