Share on Facebook0Share on Google+2Tweet about this on Twitter10
Making money online fast is realistic – and in fact, very possible. By fast however, I do not mean making a million dollars overnight! I mean that you could earn far more than what you are currently earning both online and off. Who doesn’t appreciate more money? However, to make money fast online, you have to review the way you view the concept of making money online and change a thing or two…
What exactly do I need to change, Terungwa, to ensure I make more money in the days to come?

Understand That Blogging Alone Isn’t It
If you ask me, I’d honestly tell you that If you started blogging with the intention of monetizing via Adsense, you may consider changing your perspective. Well, that is if you really want to make serious money online and afford to finally live off the income from your online transactions.
Blogging, primarily should be an extension of your business into the online space of domains or you should turn your blog into a very viable business that offers products and services. This is in sharp contrast to just blogging and hoping to make a killing with just your words. Great chances are that your words alone may not generate you more than $100 – 200 per month, no matter how hard you try…your services and maybe goods will fetch you much more.
Different Online Income Streams Is The Ideal Model
When I started blogging years back, I simply imagined that I would offer great content on my blog, sell some ad space and maybe display some PPC ads and make serious money online and surely end up the next biggest name in the blogging industry…how wrong was I!
To make money online fast, you’ll have to appreciate the simple fact that no matter how good a stream of income is paying, 5 or more streams are always better – and often ‘dryproof’. This means that, you can never run out of cash so far as you’ve ‘set the ball rolling’.
Niche Sites Are Truly Great
When you run a truly successful niche site, you’d never wish for anything better! From targeted organic traffic would come huge affiliate sales and commisions that would literally blow away your mind. Aside these commissions, you’d do yourself serious good if you have a nice targeted product and sell directly to your readers! I’ve not mentioned sponsored posts/reviews and direct ad sales!
Do not get it wrong! While a general purpose blog or multi niche blog (as it is popularly called) may garner more traffic, engagement and pageviews at the end of the month, it is what goes into your purse at the end of the day that counts! Your small ‘insignificant’ niche site may generate less than 100 unique visits a day and may have an Alexa rank that is more than a million. However, that small site may net you thousands of dollars as compared to your very popular blog that returns thousands of unique visitors per day!
Do not be fooled: why niche sites often have less impressive stats, they have the propensity to feed your purse better than multi niche sites which may have raw stats but little to offer when it’s bank time.
Address The Whole World
The joy of the Internet is that it truly transcends nations and geographical boundaries. That is the reason why I cringe when people start businesses online that they expect the whole world to patronize and have some silly extensions like .ng, .in or .ca. While these extensions are great if you run a blog that targets only the audience in a specific country, the result is truly catastrophic when the entire world is intended as audience.
To truly make money in a fast fashion online, it’s a great idea to tailor both your domain name and content to suit the whole world. That way, (if you know your business), you’d garner more customers and enjoy more frequent visits to the bank.
Or, in the alternative, you could provide services tailored to the major countries where you get the bulk of your customers from (your analytics tools will help you with that) and make all your customers access your services through the central site.
Are you addressing the whole world?
Dare To Be Different – And Truly Indispensable!
There are a few blogs that I cannot truly do without visiting any day! The value they offer is something I cannot afford to miss. Its so sad that these blogs are less than 5! What then happens to the content that millions of blogs churn out everyday! If I can, I’ll see it…if I’m too busy, no problem!
That is exactly how your readers think and act. If they are asked, can you sincerly answer that they’ll say your blog is indispensable and they cannot afford to miss a single post?
If the answer is ‘NO’, consider these tips:
  • Update more frequently; nobody likes a stale blog
  • Your posts should be well written and always properly researched
  • Entertain (as much as possible): the world loves that!
  • Blog what you know…nothing pisses off more than an imposter blogging trash about the things he only dreams about.
  • Go careful on the ads. The moment your readers know you are all after money, you’ve lost it all!
Then, dare to be different! If that means sparking controversies, spark them. If being different means challenging the opinions of another ‘problogger’, do it. Your readers crave your independent voice.
Do you have one?
